Is it possible to analyze 2D Phase Contrast MRI?
It is possible. Energy loss and flow rate are analyzed in two-dimensional units.
-
What are the advantages and disadvantages of 2D Phase Contrast MRI?
Since the analysis results are limited to 2-dimensional cross-sections, the desired analysis results cannot be obtained if the characteristic flow, for example, the central axis of the stenotic jet is not captured in the cross-section.
On the other hand, it takes less time for acquisition.
-
What is the price of the software?
Prices vary depending on the type of license. Please contact us to get a quote for your requirements.
-
Is it possible to analyze MRI by speckle tracking?
It is expected to be available soon as a beta feature in development.
-
Is a demo version of the software available?
It is available. We will be happy to meet with you online and explain how to install and use it. Please contact us at info@dev.cfd.life.
-
I would like to request a free verification of the sample imaged data.
We will send you information on the recommended imaging methods. Please contact us at info@dev.cfd.life.
We provide support for the all the MRI maker according to recommended imaging methods.

What is the imaging protocol for 4D Flow MRI?
The following conditions are recommended for cardiac imaging:
• Sagital
• Venc is 1.5 ~ 2.0m/s
• 4D Flow and Cine images for segmentation.
• Slice width: 4mm max
• More than 15 phases per cardiac cycle
-
What are the system requirements for implementing 4D Flow? What are the recommended PC requirements?
Minimum:
OS: Windows 10 64 bit (Japanese or English)
Monitor resolution: Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or higher
Interface: Mouse with wheels
Recommended:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 or higher
RAM: 16GB or higher
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or higher
Analysis speed is CPU-dependent and less RAM means less stability.
We can also provide you an estimate for a recommended PC.
-
Is it possible to substitute the analysis of 4D Flow MRI for a continuous section of 2D Phase Contrast?
It is possible. If you have any concern, please tell us and we will check the compatibility. We will adapt the software for a better compatibility with your data.
-
We have a different 4D Flow analysis software, what is the difference?
Our iTFlow is unique in its ability to track and analyze beats without contrast. It can also calculate various hemodynamic indices based on fluid analysis techniques.
Demo and trial versions are available. We will support you in the interpretation of blood flow. In addition to 4D Flow MRI, we also provide comprehensive support for CFD and other methods of blood flow analysis, so please feel free to contact us if you have any technical problems.
-
Is it possible to quantify WSS (Wall Shear Stress) with iTFlow?
It is possible to measure the average, maximum, and minimum values of stress in the measured area by enclosing it on the 3D screen.
It is also possible to draw the WSS in a cardiac cycle change’s graph.
-
What are the possibilities with iTFlow?
4D Flow MRI data can be analyzed to visualize streamlines and pathlines, assess flow rates, measure cardiac volumes, measure energy loss, and analyze stress on the wall.
